Shez Bandukwala

Shez is a Managing Director for KPMG CF LLC, and is the Head of the US Industrial Technology, Chemicals and Cleantech practices. He is based in the Chicago office.

Shez has over 25 years of experience with a deep background serving middle-market growth companies within various high-profile sectors. As a leader in Corporate Finance, Shez serves and expands relationships with clients that expand across the industrial, technology, chemical and energy sectors with a focus on M&A advisory services. Shez advises the management teams of publicly traded and privately-owned companies as well as their board members and venture/private equity investors.

Prior to joining KPMG Corporate Finance, Shez was a Managing Director at Stifel Nicolaus Weisel where he founded and led the cleantech investment banking group. Previously, he was a Partner at ThinkEquity LLC where he initially led the consumer investment banking group prior to founding and leading the cleantech investment banking group for the firm. Shez also spent 10 years at William Blair & Company where he was a Principal and one of the founding partners of the technology investment banking group.

Shez has advised his clients on over 100 public and private financings, mergers and acquisitions representing over $8.5 billion in transaction value. Shez has been a guest speaker at over 70 industry conferences addressing trends in M&A, cleantech and alternative energy, the IPO and private capital markets, regulatory and valuation issues.
