Exclusive financial advisor to R3 Wound Care and Hyperbarics
KPMG Corporate Finance LLC acted as exclusive financial advisor to R3 Wound Care and Hyperbarics
KPMG Corporate Finance LLC (“KPMG CF”) is pleased to announce the recapitalization of R3 Wound Care and Hyperbarics (“R3” or the “Company”) by 3 Rivers Capital, LLC (“3RC”).
R3 is a non-hospital service provider of advanced wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (“HBOT”). The Company has in-network contracts with all major insurance providers. R3 specializes in wound healing, post-surgical wound care, diabetic wound treatment, infection healing options, and more. With four locations in Texas, the Company currently serves the Dallas Fort Worth and San Antonio areas.
Founded in 2005, 3RC is a Pittsburgh-based private equity firm that focuses on partnering with family owners, entrepreneurs and existing management teams to acquire niche, founder-owned services businesses. A major area of focus for 3RC is healthcare services outside of the hospital setting, particularly where the service provider can produce better patient outcomes and satisfaction at a lower price point for both patients and payers.
“My vision when I started R3 was to expand our footprint throughout the State of Texas and the neighboring states. Through our partnership with 3RC, we look forward to fulfilling this vision,” said Bob Childs, CEO of R3.
Rob Carskadden, Partner at 3RC, added, “We are proud to partner with the dedicated and experienced management team at R3. R3’s commitment to patient health is demonstrated daily by delivering outstanding personalized care in a compassionate, safe, and effective manner.”
KPMG Corporate Finance acted as exclusive financial advisor to R3. KPMG Corporate Finance partnered with KPMG LLP's Financial Due Diligence and Tax Advisory practices to provide a comprehensive and integrated solution for the client.
Bob Childs further commented on the transaction, “KPMG was instrumental in guiding us to a successful transaction result. From the firm’s comprehensive and seamless M&A solution to identifying an investor who shared our strategic vision, KPMG was there for us every step of the way. KPMG has earned our trust and we look forward to doing business with them again.”
