Exclusive financial advisor to Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation

Cognizant Technology Solutions (Cognizant) acquisition of Zenith Technologies expands their IoT portfolio, enabling the company to become a single-source provider of end-to-end smart factory capabilities, a key driver in Industry 4.0.

KPMG Corporate Finance LLC served as exclusive financial advisor to Cognizant, a US based company, on the cross border acquisition of Zenith, whose headquarters are in Ireland.

KPMG Corporate Finance LLC was engaged by Cognizant to assist in identifying opportunities to acquire industrial IoT technology leaders who are delivering solutions that would advance their position in this space.

KPMG conducted a global search, leveraging our deep IoT sector expertise and international reach to identify a partner for Cognizant that met its exacting acquisition criteria and worked diligently to drive a successful closing.

Brian Humphries, Chief Executive Officer, Cognizant said, “In acquiring Zenith Technologies, we expand Cognizant’s IoT portfolio and extend our life sciences domain expertise by becoming a single-source provider of end-to-end smart factory capabilities. Together, we are better positioned to help clients realize information and operational technology convergence in their manufacturing operations, and advance the development of life-saving drugs, biologics, specialized pharmaceuticals and medical devices. We look forward to welcoming Zenith Technologies’ employees to Cognizant.”
