Cognizant Technology Solutions acquires Zenith Technologies
At the recent 13th annual M&A Atlas Awards, KPMG CF was proud to receive the Global Technology Deal of the Year award for serving as exclusive financial advisor to U.S.-based Cognizant, a global IT consulting company, on the cross-border acquisition of Zenith Technologies, headquartered in Cork, Ireland.
KPMG CF was engaged by Cognizant to assist in identifying opportunities to acquire Industrial Internet of Things (I-IoT) technology leaders who are delivering leading I-IoT solutions that would advance their position in this space.
KPMG CF conducted a global search, leveraging its deep I-IoT domain knowledge and transaction experience, as well as its international reach to identify a partner for Cognizant that met its exacting acquisition criteria. KPMG CF worked diligently with Cognizant and its legal counsel to drive a successful closing of this complex transaction.

Wei Holding sale to Fosun Jinmei Cosmetics Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Fosun International.
KPMG Corporate Finance LLC acted as exclusive financial advisor to Wei Beauty, a vertically integrated prestige beauty skincare brand, on their sale to Fosun, an innovation-driven consumer group that provides high-quality products and services for families around the world in health, happiness, and wealth segments.
In addition to sell-side advisory services, the KPMG LLPs Financial Due Diligence team was engaged to perform the company’s quality of earnings analysis and pro forma P&L consolidation prior to market launch.
The KPMG International Tax Services team was engaged to address suitable structuring variables across international tax jurisdictions to achieve maximum tax efficiencies for sellers.
