KPMG Corporate Finance LLC (KPMG CF) is pleased to welcome the M&A and Corporate Finance team from M&T’s Investment Banking Group to join our Corporate Finance practice. The team is led by Rob White and Ian Pemberton, who have a combined 40 years of investment banking experience. KPMG CF is a growing middle market investment bank that provides investment banking sellside, buyside, and capital advisory services. The addition of the team demonstrates KPMG CF’s continued investment in expanding industry capabilities to better serve our clients. Rob, Ian, and the team will further enhance KPMG CF’s position as a leading mid-market investment bank and M&A advisor for companies in the Industrials, Real Estate, Business Services, and Aerospace and Defense/Government.
Rob White is an experienced M&A banker with over 25 years of business development and execution, including sell-sides, corporate carve-outs/divestitures, acquisitions, and private capital raising (equity and subordinated debt) for middle market clients. Prior to joining KPMG, Rob led the M&A and Corporate Finance practice at M&T, where he was focused on industrials transactions, both manufacturing and distribution.

Ian Pemberton joins the KPMG team with over 15 years of experience in commercial and investment banking. Ian’s diverse industry experience within the middle market includes advising clients on sell-side and capital raising engagements in industries such as real estate, business services, manufacturing, and distribution. While at M&T, Ian led the Investment Banking Group’s efforts in the affordable housing vertical, which provides advisory services related to capital raising and strategic alternatives to developers, owners, managers and syndicators.
